Arsene Wenger thinks he has found the player to replace Bacary Sagna in Southampton youngster  Calum Chambers, who despite being only 19-years-old has already made 21 Premier League starts for Mauricio Pochettino this season after having come up through Southampton’s academy.

The Gunners domestic scouting team has been to watch him play on a number of occasions and have been impressed by what they have seen recommending him as a possible replacement for Sagna who is out of contract in the summer.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has tried to get the 31-year-old Frenchman to sign a new contract but friends close to the right-back have told the Daily Mail that he still needs more convincing to stay and will most likely join either Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain who have both thought to have offered better deals than Arsenal is willing to put on the table.
