According to reports coming out of Germany Borussia Dortmund is ready to do battle with Arsenal for the signature of Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.
The 27-year-old German internationals contract is up with the Spanish giants at the end of the season, which means he will be a free agent.
Last summer other European clubs were also tracking Khedira not knowing whether or not Madrid were going to enter into contract talks, but as we get nearer to the end of the season it would appear as if Carlo Ancelotti is ready to let the German leave.
German newspaper Bild is this morning reporting that Borussia Dortmund are keeping tabs on the situation and should he be available have the funds to compete with Arsenal.
