Thanks to last summer’s arrival Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona Arsenal has become the number one supported foreign team in Chile where they view the Arsenal forward as a kind of demi-God.
The Chilean international now has millions of fans back home tuning in to watch his performances for the Gunners as was explained by a Chilean fan who was in attendance at the Emirates to watch an international friendly between his country and Brazil on Sunday, and despite Chile losing 1-0 to Dunga’s Samba Boys took the time to talk with Arsenal Fan TV presenter Robbie who he said is also a celebrity now back in his homeland.
