Arsenal, Real Madrid

Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has been an Arsenal target for some time now despite the fact Arsenal failed to manage to sign him on a season long loan in January.

The Daily Mirror is today reporting that the Gunners are involved in fresh talks with the Spanish giants that will see Morata move to the Emirates this summer.

The only sticking point to seeing the deal done is that Real Madrid wants to include a buy-back clause in a deal that will allow them to resign the 21-year-old from Arsenal in two years’ time for a set price.

If Arsenal will agree to this then we can expect to see the young Spanish international sign for arsenal in a deal worth around £8 million.

In other striker news Bayern Munich’s Mario Mandzukic and Nuremberg striker Josip Drmic are both said to be on Wenger‘s radar as possible strike options for the Gunners.
