According to METRO Arsenal is getting ready to make a move for fellow London club West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell this summer as the Gunners look to bolster the amount of home grown players they have on their books.

Cresswell has caught the attention of Arsenal scouts since moving from Ipswich Town at the end of last season, with reports coming out of the Emirates to suggest that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is ready to bid on the 25-year-old to provide competition for Kieran Gibbs with the likelihood that Nacho Monreal will return to Spain after having played two-seasons in England.

West Ham will not let Cresswell leave cheaply, with the figure of £15 million being talked about, but with manager Sam Allardyce keen to keep Carl Jenkinson there is no reason to stop the two clubs reaching some kind of agreement.
