Arsenal, Juventus, Pogba,

According to Italian sports daily Tuttosport Arsenals bid of £20 million for former Manchester United player Paul Pogba has been rejected.

This news comes as no surprise as everyone knows that the Turin club has no intention of selling one of their best players.

When talking about the bid Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta said: “Forget Pogba!”

“We have no intention of listening to proposals for the midfielder.”

Pogba only moved to Italy last summer, and has done really well with the Italian Champions who regard him as one of their biggest talents.

When talking about having left Manchester United, Pogba said:

“When I saw Scholes come back part of me was really happy as he’s a legend, but I knew it was the end of me. The manager thought Scholes had to play, not me, and after that I had to leave. Maybe Ferguson will regret it now, but I don’t think about Manchester United any more. I have no regrets about leaving Manchester, none at all.”

It is hard to understand why Arsenal put a bid in at all unless it was just to test the water, but with the Old Lady of football ready to offer Pogba a new contract with an annual salary of £2 million it is hard to imagine the 20-year-old Frenchman moving anytime soon.
