Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has apparently run out of patience with striker Edinson Cavani complaining about being played out of position with the French manager preferring Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Blanc has in recent days talked about a need to be more ruthless in his decision making with the Daily Express suggesting he may have finally told Cavani to pack his bags opening the door for Arsenal to sign the Uruguayan.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s main priority next month will be to sign a defensive midfielder and a centre-back, but funds are available should a top name signing like Cavani become available.
And while there is no doubt about the former Napoli stars credentials the question remains as to whether or not Wenger is serious now that PSG are ready to sell.
