Arsenal gets their Striker but it’s not Karim Benzema

According to the latest rumours Arsenal has got themselves a striker to provide not only back-up but competition for Olivier Giroud.

Arsenal manager is sticking by his Guns that he does not necessarily need to have a world class striker to supply the goals the club needs, as was evident during the 6-1 friendly win over Lyon at the weekend.

And while Fernando Llorente might not be the striker all the fans hoped to see arriving at the Emirates, the 6ft 5in Spaniard is more than capable of holding his own in the Premiership, and may prove to be the best £8.5 million Wenger has ever spent.

According to reports the 30-year-old former Athletico Bilbao striker is set to seal a move to the in the next day or two.
