It would appear as if current Arsenal number two goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny’s season has just gotten worse after a pole in the London Evening Standard showed that nearly 80% of Arsenal fans would like to see the Polish international replaced by Chelsea veteran Petr Cech.

Szczesny’s future at the Emirates has been in doubt since he was replaced by Colombian David Ospina after a dreadful performance at St Mary’s against Southampton, and was later caught breaking Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s no smoking policy, by sneaking a fag in the shower.

While it would be hard to imagine Jose Mourinho letting Cech join a Premiership rival, it would appear as if Arsenal is going to be in the market for a new shot-stopper and that if the 24-year-old wants to get his career back on track he might be better moving to another club.
