Arsenal Defender to miss FA Cup CLASH with United

 

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the clubs new £16 million signing from Villarreal Gabriel Paulista will be out for at least three weeks after having suffered a hamstring injury.


The defender got injured during the Gunners 2-1 win against QPR at Lofus Road on Wednesday night and will now miss the FA Cup quarter final at Old Trafford against Manchester United on Monday night.


There was however better news concerning goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who may get the start against United.


“He has a test today,” said Arsene Wenger. “If he gets through that he will play on Monday night.”
