According to reports coming out of Italy carried by talkSPORT Valencia CF is prepared to battle Arsenal over the signing of Napoli striker Eduardo Vargas.
Arsenal has been tracking the 24-year-old ever since signing his Chilean teammate Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona with the opinion that the two may well gel for the Gunners.
Vargas has been left out of Napoli’s squad for the Champions League qualifier meaning he would now not be cup tied should Arsenal make their move.
Last season Vargas spent six month on loan with Valencia scoring five goals in 25 appearances which has led to the La Liga side thinking about rivaling Arsenal for his signature.
