Arsenal consider £30m bid for Julian Draxler alternative

Arsenal is reportedly considering putting together a £30 million bid for Spanish international U-21 sensation Isco according to METRO.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder is reportedly unhappy with his current situation at Real Madrid and in particular with trainer Carlo Ancelotti who is not giving him enough playing time.

When asked about Isco, the Italian trainer said: “Benching Isco is for tactical reasons, because he has difficulties with this system,” the Italian continued. “Of course he isn’t happy because he wants to play.

“It’s a temporary problem because he’s an important player. He’s a serious player, he’s professional and there are no problems with him.

“I haven’t forgotten that he scored a lot of important goals at the start of the season and won us a lot of points when the team wasn’t in good shape.”

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made no secret of his interest in the young playmaker whose last season at Malaga was so impressive along with his performance for Spain during the U-21 European Championships that his former boss Manuel Pellegrini tried to sign him last summer for Manchester City.

Isco is considered to be the future of Spanish football and has proved himself on the big stage and with a price of £7.5 million less than Julian Draxler he could certainly prove to be a tempting alternative to the young German.
