Everyone by now knows that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger really wants to sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, and after reportedly having a £31 million bid for the French international knocked back by Real Madrid, Arsenal has now tabled a second offer of £35.3 million in the hope of bringing the 27-year-old to the Emirates.
If this was not enough, Arsenal is said to have hijacked Liverpool’s moves to try and sign German international Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund, while knowing they will need to come up with £47.8 million to have any chance of landing one of the Bundesliga’s most versatile players.
