Highly-rated Marseille youngster Bilal Boutobba is becoming somewhat of an infatuation for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger with the now 66-year-old trainer keen to bring the teenager to North London this summer according to Spanish sports news outlet Estadio Deportivo.

The highly talented 17-year-old has been on the Gunners radar since January, with Wenger now prepared to gate-crash La Liga side Sevilla’s attempts to get him to move to Spain.

Boutobba is a product of the Marseille academy and a French youth international making his debut for the Ligue 1 side while just 16 years of age.

The talented midfielder has however rejected an offer to remain at his boyhood club and is looking at a more lucrative move abroad which he hopes will not only raise his profile but also allow him to play more first team football.

Already an admirer of Arsenal thanks to their French connection with manager Arsene Wenger it would not take much to convince Boutobba to select the Emirates over the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, but at the end of the day it may come down as to where he will be given the most opportunity to play, which very well could be in Spain.
