The Daily Express is reporting that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is refusing to comment on speculation that the former Arsenal striker would like to return to the Emirates now that things have turned sour at Old Trafford.
Following Manchester United’s 2-0 loss to Greek club Olympiakos in the first-leg of their last-16 Champions League match in Athens van Persie lashed out at his fellow United teammates claiming “others are getting in his way.”
While downplaying any talk of a possible return of van Persie Wenger has refused to comment on the Dutch strikers remarks after the Champions league match due to the fact that as of yet he had not heard them.
“I didn’t hear it and wouldn’t like to comment on comments I haven’t heard,” Wenger said.
