Arsenal has been approached regarding the possibility of signing Swansea City’s French international striker Bafetimbi Gomis.
South London side Crystal Palace have already offered Swansea £9.3 million for a player who is gaining interest from several \Premiership sides, but it is Gomis’s desire to join a top team that might decide where he ends up.
Swansea for their part will be reluctant to Gomis leave knowing they are almost certain now to lose Wilfried Bony to Manchester City for £30 in the coming days.
Gomis told the Daily Mail: ‘I know clubs have been speaking to my agent and my agent has been speaking to one very big club so we will see what happens. I believe I could do a job for most clubs and like any player I want to play in the Champions League. There is more to come from me and I just want to play regularly.’
