Both Arsenal and Manchester United have been told by Southampton that if they want to sign Saints defensive midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin they will have to come up with £24 million.

The south coast club appears resigned to the fact that the French international will leave St Mary’s this summer after having expressed his desire to play for a team that can offer Champions League football.

The 25-year-old would prefer to join Manchester United, but it may come down to whether or not the Red Devils manage to sign Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger.

If this was to happen Arsenal and their manager Arsene Wenger who is a big fan of Schneiderlin would be a second option, but with Atletico Madrid and Juventus also interested it is almost 100% certain then French star will move clubs this summer.
