Arsenal and Liverpool striker target Alexandre Lacazette has ended all talk over a possible move to the Premiership after having signed a new contract at the Ligue 1 runners up that will now see him remain at Lyon until 2019.

The 24-year-old goal machine had been linked to a summer move to the English Premiership following strong interest from both Liverpool and Arsenal, after a season that saw him gag 27 goals in the French league.

“People can stop talking [about me],” Lacazette said. “Now I hope we will only talk because I am scoring goals and winning games with Lyon.”
