It is not the big name signing that Gooners had been waiting for, but according to Sports Direct News Arsenal are close to signing Lars Vilsvik before the window shuts Monday night.
The Norwegian international left-back currently plays for Stromsgodset in the Norwegian Tippeligaen.
Besides being a left back Vilsvik can also play as a central defender and would be a good addition to the Gunners squad.
