Benfica attacking midfielder Nicolas Gaitan has according to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo turned down a very lucrative offer from Dubai based United Arab Emirates team Al-Ahli in favour of a move to Manchester United.
The report claims that the Gulf Coast team were prepared to pay £25 million for the 27-year-old while also offering him a very lucrative salary to move to the Middle East.
Gaitan however wants to move to Old Trafford and is hopeful of a deal being completed before next Tuesday’s deadline.
