Chelsea manager in waiting Antonio Conte has warned Blues stars that they face the axe if they step out of line and do not do as they are told by the Italian tactician.

The 46-year-old former Juventus man is set to become Chelsea’s next permanent manager, after having already said that he will step down from his role as Italian national team trainer following this summer’s European Championships in France.

“They will get that from me, and I want it from them. I never trust a player who has no manners.”

Conte has gone on to say that he plans to make an impact on the Premier League adding: “I don’t believe in the idea that all that matters is taking part. I don’t do anything just for the sake of doing it. I am a perfectionist.”

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is believed to be readying a huge war chest for his new manager so that he can restore the club to their position at the top of the English league.
