ANDY CARROLL is digging in for a fight at Liverpool — even though the club has secretly informed interested parties of his sale price.

Angry Carroll ready for fight

Carroll, signed for £35million by Kenny Dalglish in 2011, does not figure in new boss Brendan Rogers’ plans.

And SunSport can reveal Liverpool are set to take a hit on Carroll by agreeing to a season loan for £2m with a £14m transfer next summer.

West Ham are offering the £2m loan fee and would sign the striker for £15m next summer but only if they stay up. His old club Newcastle are also in the hunt.

But a close pal of Carroll’s said: “It doesn’t matter what West Ham bid, Andy doesn’t want to go there.

“He doesn’t want to leave Liverpool and will only go on loan to a club playing in Europe.”
