When Liverpool sold Suarez to Barca, everyone agreed replacing the Uruguayan won’t be an easy task and surely, it has been. Daniel Sturridge has been the same player of old, injury prone. Christian Benteke was bought in the hope that he will be able to deliver, unfortunately Klopp hasn’t given him enough chances and the little he has been given, he has failed to impress. Danny Ings and Origi have but not fared better either.

This is why there have been rumors linking Liverpool to the signing of one striker to the other. But due to the presence of Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool may sign one of the best attackers in European football at the most.

Recently, Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang told the press he owes a lot that has happened in his career positively to former manager Jurgen Klopp who gave him his chance as forward in Dortmund.

The Gabonese who has scored 36 goals and created 11 assists in 41 appearances this season was said;

“It is great for us to have this game,” said Aubameyang. “We can show Klopp we have worked hard to get back to where we were and that we have progression. It will be a very difficult game, for sure, but we want to show Klopp that we are working very hard.

“I owe him a lot. It was great to work with him and he taught me many things. If I play like this as a striker now, it is because of him.”

Does it mean he will say yes to Liverpool should Jurgen Klopp be ready to pay what it costs to sign him? We will never know but crazier things have happened in football.
