£35m Manchester United target BACK’s DOWN

Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi has apparently backed down from his threat to boycott pre-season training in order to push forward a move to Old Trafford.

According to Superdeporte, the Argentinian international realizes that a move will not take place until the end of the week at the earliest, while the Red Devils still try to wrap up a deal for Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos.

United knows that in order to sign the 27-year-old they will have to meet his £35 million release clause, and with Valencia not really wanting to sell there is no room for negotiation.

There is no question that Otamendi wants to move to Old Trafford, but he needs to be patient for the next week, as United sorts out all their summer transfer business.
