Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson has responded to the news that both Manchester United and Chelsea were willing to pay £30 million in order to get him to leave Italian Serie A side Lazio this summer by saying he was happy to remain in Rome.

The 22-year-old Brazilian had a wonderful season at the Stadio Olimpico scoring six goals with seven assists to help Lazio secure Champions League football next season.

“Next year? All I know is I’ll be playing for Lazio,” Anderson said.

“I only recently renewed my contract for another five years. I’m thinking about that shirt, and nothing else. I don’t know of any offers, my future is at Lazio.”
