Argentinian winger Nicolas Gaitan is apparently very close to joining a mysterious Premier League side after the Benfica players representatives flew into England to finalize a deal.
The 27-year-old had just celebrated winning his second league title with Benfica, but now appears to be on the verge of leaving the club with reports in Portugal claiming his agents Luis Filipe Vieira and Jorge Mendes are currently engaged in talks with an unnamed English club.
Meanwhile Chelsea and Manchester United have both been linked with Gaitan in the past, but the only thing we know at the moment is that it has to be with a club that can afford to pay his £24.8 million release clause.
