According to newspaper Le Parisian, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi wants to leave the French Champions during the summer, and has set his heart on joining either Arsenal or Manchester United.

The French international wants to play in England while he is still in his prime, and his agent Mino Raiolo is unlikely to stand in his way this time after the 27-year-old tried to leave the Ligue 1 side last summer.

He said: “It would have been good if he had changed club last summer. But he didn’t want to and neither did PSG.

“I am still of the same opinion: it is good for the player and for the club when there are changes in the group. But Nasser did not agree, so Blaise is still here.

“Twenty-five clubs wanted Blaise! PSG refused offers, really big offers from clubs of the same standing as PSG.”

Matuidi is a quality player that will attract a lot of attention, yet it remains to be seen if Arsenal or Manchester United will rekindle their interest in the hard tackling Frenchman.
